The IC-TECH curriculum is different from the traditional IT curriculum in that the former is a complete subject-oriented program of study specifically designed to reinforce the core subject skills via the computer while the latter focuses on the computer as an object of study . Each subject-integrated IC-TECH activity contains meaningful themed assignments that enhance the learners’ skills in language, arts, mathematics, geography, science, social studies, general knowledge and visual arts courses. The interactive software packages used in IC-TECH cover the core learning skills required in each curriculum unit along with the requisite computing skills for a particular class level. All the IC-TECH courses have been programmed to ensure that the students take interest in the learning sessions, for example, simulation or animation exercises, for better understanding and mastery. Student assessment is based on the practical work done by the each

student. All activity marks are entered onto our online Academic Information and Management System and the result is calculated via computer. At The City School, the learners are at the centre of the teaching-learning process while ably facilitated by well-trained teachers and professionals. Using the power of today’s computers, learning at The City School becomes not only an enterprise but a source of personal satisfaction and heightened motivation for the students. This, we believe, is the best way to prepare the future leaders of our country and the hope of our motherland.

Academic Information and Management System - Another state-of-the-art milestone in  The City School  history was the introduction of Ideal AIMS - short for Academic Information and Management System.  Ideal AIMS is a database system used in maintaining the records of students, teachers, classes, branches, and regions. The old-style method of handling the school’s academic operations manually has proved to be a daunting task and is largely prone to errors.  With Ideal AIMS, the academic processes of the school is now fully automated and has rendered the necessary management information easily accessible by and available to end-users, thus, making the operation of the school system more effective, efficient and economical.
